Parent-teacher night focuses on family advocacy

McElwain Elementary hosted a parent-teacher night where they engaged in conversations and learning about the topic of family advocacy. Families were presented with school scenarios and had to decide what they would do in each situation. This exercise sparked a lot of conversation and families walked away with more knowledge about the public school system.
