Amiya Segovia has been chosen as the 2025 Gateway to College Dragon's Scholar! She is deserving of this honor as she is no stranger to adversity and challenge after transitioning between a couple schools going from Thornton HS to home school to GOAL Academy and finally landing at Gateway to College (through Pathways). Amiya is a leader both by academic example and by her magnanimous nature of supporting the Gateway community. She averages 98% attendance and has a 3.5 college GPA. Beyond demonstrating superb academic and interpersonal skills, Amiya works 20 hours/week, does competitive equestrian vaulting and is active with her church. She can't wait to challenge herself on an international adventure this summer.
