Pig the Pug Carnival Night brings families to Leroy

- Focus on Students
On April 17th, Leroy hosted its Pig the Pug Carnival Night—a fun-filled evening combining literacy and carnival games inspired by the Pig the Pug book series. Families enjoyed engaging activities that promoted reading while having a blast with classic carnival fun.
We were proud to partner with Red Fern Animal Shelter for this event. Student leadership hosted a donation station where they collected new and unused pet items, as well as monetary donations to support this incredible organization.
The night was made even more special with a surprise appearance from Pig the Pug himself, delighting kids and families alike!
Approximately 300 people attended this exciting event. As a special takeaway, every child went home with a Pig the Pug book in either English or Spanish.
