Rocky Mountain Elementary raises money for charity

Rocky Mountain Elementary students raised over $1,800 for the American Heart Association during the Kids Heart Challenge! Some students learned hands only CPR and many participated in challenges to drink more water, get more sleep, and get outside. To reward their hard work they got to pie a specials teacher in the face during a school assembly. It was a sticky and fun mess. A shout out to our PE teacher Betsy Nunnally for organizing all of it.
Special thanks to the Rocky Mountain Elementary community for submitting this Five Star Story.
This story exemplifies our ELEVATE Focus Area: Diverse Learning. Sharing stories of how students receive engaging learning experiences and the focused-attention they need through appropriate student-to-staff ratios and varied programming.
