Rocky Mountain Elementary students head to state park

Mr. Sperry, the RME SSN teacher, along with the RME SSN team—Ms. T.R., Ms. Joanne, Ms. Reyna, and Ms. June—organized a fantastic field trip for our SSN program students to the annual AMG Fishing Derby at Cherry Creek State Park. This day was more than just a fun outing; it was a celebration of our students' perseverance, teamwork, and resilience.
As our students ventured into nature, they embraced new challenges with enthusiasm and determination, radiating joy at every turn. It was heartwarming to witness their spirits soar beyond the classroom walls.
A particularly memorable moment was the collaboration among students, families, and staff as they tackled challenges together. This strong sense of community showcased the power of caring for one another and the commitment to supporting every student’s journey. These experiences remind us of our mission and the importance of creating an engaging, nurturing environment where all students can thrive.
