This year, seventh-grade students Adaline Z., Marcus W., Katalina A., Emma C., and Leah A., have earned a prestigious opportunity to participate in the Future Engineers NASA Tech Rise Challenge. Their innovative proposal was selected from over 720 submissions, recognizing their exceptional creativity and scientific insight. As winners, they will receive $1,500 to develop a their experiment payload that will fit within a 4" x 4" x 8" flight box, which will be launched into the stratosphere at 70,000 feet on a World View High Altitude Hot Air Balloon. The launch will take place before the fall. Their experiment, focused on examining diffusion in space and its effects on blood, will be exposed to the unique conditions of the upper atmosphere, offering invaluable insights into space science. This remarkable achievement underscores their talent and dedication to advancing scientific exploration. Congratulations team!
