Students helping students through books
The generosity of the school community shines bright! During the holiday season, Hulstrom K-8 hosted a massive book drive, collecting over 1,300 new and gently used books for the students at nearby Malley Drive Elementary.
But the magic didn’t stop at the donation. Marisa at Malley Drive transformed a corner of the library into a special holiday "Book Shop." Before heading off for winter break, students were invited to come in, browse the shelves, and select a book to keep forever.
As seen in the photos, they even selected bookmarks and made the books officially theirs with a "This Book Belongs To..." sticker.
It is so special to see students helping students. Huge thanks to everyone who donated and to the staff who made this shopping experience happen. ❤️
