Culture Night for community to celebrate diversity

Stukey Elementary School hosted a Culture Night where their community came together to celebrate their cultural diversity. Our American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC) taught students and families about different traditional dances across the various native tribes in the United States and then performed the dances. A guest storyteller had our students dancing and singing while learning about different animals in Australia. Each grade level had a classroom that highlighted a country or had students reflect and showcase their own culture. What a great event to learn from one another and show what makes each of us unique!
