Successful AIPAC Annual Pow Wow at Rocky Top Middle
- Climate & Culture
- Focus on Students
This year's Annual Pow Wow was nothing short of magical. On February 17, community members from around the district were able to join together to learn about and appreciate the culture of Indigenous nations. There was music, dance, food and plenty of vendors for everyone to enjoy.
Rochelle Garcia-Gomez, Christina Sigala, and Kris Teal, in partnership with American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC), hosted the district's Annual Pow Wow at Rocky Top Middle School on February 17.
The Pow Wow is just one example of how Adams 12 Five Star Schools elevates student success through meaningful and authentic family engagement!
Special thanks to the Equity & Engagement department and the Rocky Top Middle School community for submitting this Five Star Story.
This story exemplifies our ELEVATE Focus Area: Safe Schools. Sharing stories about how the district supports student learning by providing a safe and secure environment.
