Teacher at Centennial rallies community for fundraiser

Brian Gerwig, a dedicated PE teacher, played a key role in engaging his students in raising funds for the American Heart Association through the recent Kids Heart Challenge/American Heart Challenge program. His enthusiasm and commitment to the cause inspired both students and their families to participate, contributing to the impressive total of $2,417.15 raised. On behalf of the American Heart Association, a heartfelt thank you was extended for this generous support, as it significantly impacts the fight against cardiovascular disease. Gerwig's efforts helped raise awareness about heart health, while also fostering an understanding of the importance of cardiovascular wellness. The funds raised will support lifesaving research, education, and awareness campaigns, helping millions of Americans lead healthier lives. Through his leadership, Gerwig demonstrated how schools and families are critical in laying the foundation for better cardiovascular health in our nation.
