The Newcomer Center awarded Collaborative SCFD grant

The Newcomer Center at Thornton High School was awarded a grant from the Collaborative SCFD (Scientific and Cultural Facilities District), a membership group of art, science and cultural organizations that receive funding from specified tax revenue in the Denver-metro area.

With this grant, the school will be able to provide field trips, cultural experiences and beyond the classroom learning opportunities for the students at the Newcomer Center at Thornton High School. We are excited to engage our students in creative ways and help them explore new passions and possibilities!
