We've updated our District Wellness Policy!
In 2016 the USDA Food and Nutrition Services finalized regulations and guidelines for wellness policies which required districts to begin developing a revised policy. Adams 12 Five Star Schools has since updated the policy to include nutrition standards related to marketing, and foods offered (not sold) to students, as well as a description of public involvement, public updates, policy leadership, and evaluation.
