Open Records Requests
The Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) is a series of laws designed to allow the public access to the records of government agencies at all levels in Colorado, including school districts. Most records are public and open for inspection. Two important exceptions are student records and personnel files.
The information you are seeking may be available on our website. If you are looking for financial records, please visit our Financial Transparency and Budget pages before submitting your request.

The Open Records Act only makes public written information that already exists within the government. It does not require an agency or other government organization involved to create new records to respond to a request. It also does not require the government to manipulate or analyze information it might have in a new way to respond to a request.
