Adams 12 Five Star Schools is deeply committed to a community of excellence, equity, and inclusion in everything we do. We commit to eliminate the predictability of who is included in excellence and who is not. Adams 12 Five Star Schools puts students first and supports our district's mission to elevate student success for every student every day in every classroom. Candidates who can contribute to our goal are encouraged to apply and to identify their strengths in this area.

Adams 12 Five Star Schools established the Department of Equity and Engagement in August 2022. As a central focus of this department, we aspire to create a culture where every student, staff member, board member, and community member feels empowered to cultivate a more equitable learning environment.  

Educational equity is our collective responsibility. Knowing there are increased incidents of hate acts and hate speech, we are including resources to support families in hosting conversations about these difficult topics with students at home. These resources are not exhaustive but we hope they provide a foundation to begin these discussions.
