STATEMENT OF SUFFICIENCY
NOMINATION PETITIONS FOR SCHOOL DIRECTOR
BOARD OF EDUCATION

Lori Goldstein has submitted a petition to be placed on the ballot in the November 7, 2023 Coordinated Election for the office of school director in District 1.  Her petition contains 50 valid entries, the minimum number of acceptable entries for determination of sufficiency.

Ken Murphy-Montoya has submitted a petition to be placed on the ballot in the November 7, 2023 Coordinated Election for the office of school director in District 1.  His petition contains 50 valid entries, the minimum number of acceptable entries for determination of sufficiency.

Paula Battistelli has submitted a petition to be placed on the ballot in the November 7, 2023 Coordinated Election for the office of school director in District 2.  Her petition contains 50 valid entries, the minimum number of acceptable entries for determination of sufficiency.

Rebecca Elmore has submitted a petition to be placed on the ballot in the November 7, 2023 Coordinated Election for the office of school director in District 2.  Her petition contains 50 valid entries, the minimum number of acceptable entries for determination of sufficiency.

Brian Klein has submitted a petition to be placed on the ballot in the November 7, 2023 Coordinated Election for the office of school director in District 2.  His petition contains 50 valid entries, the minimum number of acceptable entries for determination of sufficiency.

Ben Helgeson has submitted a petition to be placed on the ballot in the November 7, 2023 Coordinated Election for the office of school director in District 5.  His petition contains 50 valid entries, the minimum number of acceptable entries for determination of sufficiency.

Alexis Marsh-Holschen has submitted a petition to be placed on the ballot in the November 7, 2023 Coordinated Election for the office of school director in District 5.  Her petition contains 50 valid entries, the minimum number of acceptable entries for determination of sufficiency.

Frances Mullins, designated election official, has verified the petitions and deemed that Ms. Goldstein’s, Mr. Murphy-Montoya’s, Ms. Battistelli’s, Ms. Elmore’s, Mr. Klein’s, Mr. Helgeson’s, and Ms. Marsh-Holschen’s petitions appear to be sufficient and each shall be deemed valid unless a petition for a review of the validity of the petition is filed with the district court within five days after the election official’s statement of sufficiency is issued.                                                      

Call for Nominations for School Directors
Adams 12 Five Star Schools
Adams County and Broomfield County, Colorado

          Pursuant to C.R.S. § 22-31-107(1.5) the Board of Education of Adams 12 Five Star Schools in the County of Adams and the County of Broomfield, State of Colorado, calls for nomination of candidates for school directors to be placed on the ballot for the regular biennial school election to be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
          At this election three directors will be elected, one from Director District No. 1, one from Director District No. 2, and one from Director District No. 5, each for a four year term of office.  To be qualified, a candidate must have been a registered elector of the school district for at least 12 consecutive months before the election and a resident of the director district that will be represented.  A person is ineligible to run for school director if he or she has been convicted of commission of a sexual offense against a child.
          A person who desires to be a candidate for school director shall file a written notice of intention to be a candidate and a nomination petition signed by at least 50 eligible electors who are registered to vote in the regular biennial school election.
          Nomination petitions may be obtained from Frances Mullins, Designated Election Official, at the Adams 12 Educational Support Center, 1500 E. 128^th Avenue, Thornton, CO 80241. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Completed nomination petitions must be submitted to Ms. Mullins no later than 4:30 p.m. on
September 1, 2023.
