Baseline Community Engagement

Adams 12 Five Star Schools is planning for the future construction of a STEM-focused school in the new Baseline community near Interstate 25 and state Highway 7 in Broomfield.

Five Star Schools community members were invited to attend engagement sessions during the month of February 2022 for a review of current district STEM-learning pathways, an overview of potential programming and offerings that could be offered within this new school and a look at the conceptual building design for Baseline. These engagement sessions were  designed to allow participants to provide feedback on the benefits and challenges of the proposed programming and facility for this new school.

If you were not able to attend one of these sessions, we have provided a recorded version of the meeting for you to watch. After you watch this presentation, we hope you'll take the time to provide some of your own feedback on this proposed school through this Baseline Community Engagement Form.

The meeting recording is about 80 minutes long and is divided into five sections:

  • A preview of the planned school
  • Facilities and enrollment
  • Highlights of the educational design
  • The model and potential pathways
  • Potential cost of design and construction and funding sources

There is no current timeframe for the potential construction and opening of this school. The input and feedback gathered through these engagement sessions will not only inform planning work related to this school but also the district’s larger Blueprint Long Range Plan work.
