Proposed Elementary Boundary Scenarios

Updated on Mon, 10/16/2017 - 7:45am

As the first step in the process of creating new attendance boundaries to accommodate the opening of Thunder Vista P-8 in Broomfield, the district collected public input to create guiding principles to assist in the development of proposed boundary scenarios. These guiding principles take into consideration attendance boundary factors such as minimizing the impact on existing schools and students; minimizing bussing; and accommodating growth. The Five Star District uses these guiding principles as a means to ensure any proposed attendance boundary change reflects the values and priorities of district parents and community residents.
