Adams 12 KID
Adams 12 Kids Identified with Dyslexia (KID) is a parent group committed to the ongoing support of students identified with dyslexia and related learning differences. Adams 12 KID works to promote awareness of dyslexia and related learning differences in Adams 12 Five Star Schools and enable students to meet their maximum potential.
In collaboration with Adams 12 Five Star Schools, Adams 12 KID will:
- Provide families with additional support materials and resources regarding dyslexia and similar learning differences.
- Host parent-lead events to increase awareness and support for families with students identified with dyslexia.
- Support families in understanding the ongoing state legislative work regrading dyslexia.
- Raise awareness regarding the impacts of dyslexia on students and families.
Adams 12 KID meets on the second Monday of the month from 7 to 8 p.m. Links to the meetings are included on the events page of the group's website, www.adams12kid.org.
