Hispanic Advisory Council

Beginning in January 2024 the Hispanic Advisory Council (HAC) will merge with the Adams 12 Five Star Schools Equity and Engagement Team. The district recognizes the vital role both committees play in advancing the district's shared goals of promoting equity and inclusion. By combining the strengths, perspectives, and expertise of these groups, we aim to create a more robust and cohesive team that can better address the multifaceted challenges and opportunities ahead. The fusion of these teams will not only broaden our scope but also deepen our understanding and responsiveness to the diverse needs of the Five Star community. Efforts will be more streamlined and collaborative, allowing the team to amplify its impact and affect meaningful change.

The district acknowledges and deeply appreciates the invaluable contributions of both the Hispanic Advisory Council and the Equity and Engagement Team. Their dedication, insights, and commitment have been instrumental in shaping our approach to fostering an inclusive environment.  As we embark on this journey together, we encourage open dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas.
