The Information Technology department provides technology support for students, parents, educators, and support staff at Adams 12 Five Star Schools. The department provides a number services, including:
- Service Desk and field support for schools and central staff
- Software application support, software development, and data services
- Data center, network, and security services
- Print services
- Records management
- Project management for initiatives with significant technology components
- Support for data privacy initiatives

Data Privacy
Adams 12 Five Star Schools places a high value on ensuring the privacy and security of all data for which it is responsible. Part of the district’s work in this area has included bringing our data practices into compliance with the Colorado Student Transparency and Security Act.
Beyond compliance, we strive to proactively partner with students, parents, educators, and our community to provide resources and guidance in their efforts to protect the privacy of student data.
Staff & Community Technology Purchase Programs
Adams 12 Five Star Schools offers several technology purchase programs for our staff and community. Please note that our IT department does not provide consulting services, technical support, repair services, financial services or warranty services on any items purchased through these programs. Transactions are solely between the purchaser and the vendor.
- Chromebooks
- Dell Products - After clicking the link type Adams 12 in the search box and then select Adams 12 Five Star Schools EPP
- Software Products - Many software products (security, photo & design, and more) have been made available for purchase by Five Star staff at a reduced cost. You will need to register with your district email address.
- Microsoft Products - As an Five Star employee you are eligible for the Microsoft Home Use Program which gives you access to discounted Microsoft products.
