The Student Engagement Counselor is responsible for re-engaging students who left high school before graduation and helps them re-enroll in school – this could be their home high school or one of our alternative programs. If you have questions about you or your student re-enrolling with Adams 12 Five Star Schools please contact Maria Tovar (720) 972-4041.

Alternative Options in Adams 12 Five Star Schools

  • Pathways Futures Center – located at 550 E. 124th Ave, Thornton, CO. In order to attend Pathways please complete an information session and application (currently can be done and found on their website). 
  • Vantage Point High School – located at 10900 Huron St., Northglenn, CO 80234. In order to attend Vantage Point please complete an application (currently can be done and found on their website). Applications can also be picked up at Vantage Point campus.
  • Gateway to College – located on Front Range Community College campus in Westminster, CO. Applications and information on Gateway can also be found at Front Range Community College's website.
  • 'Youth Succeed' GED program is housed at Youth Workforce Center at Adams County Human Services at 11860 N. Pecos St., Westminster, CO. This program can pay the student to complete their GED tests and get their state-certified GED; plus they provide many other employment services.

The Student Engagement Counselor also has information on and contacts with school options outside of the Adams 12 district including; Job Corps, Emily Griffith campus, Goal Academy, Cross Purpose trade school, K12 online schools and other GED programs.
