The Adams 12 Student and Family Outreach Program (SFOP) exists to remove barriers that keep students from being engaged and thriving in school by providing access to community resources and health insurance. We believe that all students hold the strength and potential to thrive and that healthy students have improved learning outcomes, attendance, and behavior.
The Adams 12 Student and Family Outreach Program (SFOP) is made up of staff members who specialize in Homeless Education, Child Welfare Education, Migrant Education, and Evacuee/Refugee Education.

Homeless Education
The Adams 12 Homeless Education Program exists to remove barriers to education and promote academic success by developing and implementing policies, procedures, and systems that support enrollment and retention of children and youth experiencing unstable housing under the McKinney-Vento Act.
Support for Immigrants and Undocumented Individuals
Our critical mission – and our obligation under the law – is to ensure our schools are safe learning environments where a student’s race, ethnicity, religion and immigration status do not create any barriers to that child’s education.
